MoSync SDK is an opensource software works under Windows/Mac OSX/Linux OS. There are so many mobile devices especially called “smart phone” with mobile OS like as Android, iPhone and Windows mobile. I guess programmers may worry about which platform they had better focusing on.

It’s one of the reasons that multi-platform code generator is getting popular. For JavaScript user, you may know the name “Titanium” or PhoneGap. And for C++ programmer, MoSync SDK would be the suitable option.

MoSync SDK can generate the application code for iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile(seems not for Windows Phone series), Symbian and Java ME based on common code with C++. In addition, this Eclipse based IDE can execute the code with its built-in emulator.

For Android OS, present MoSync can support upto Android 2.1. But we recommend you to take a lo0k its capability. Almost all of functions, like as sound, Keyboard input, Bluetooth, location, file handling, camera, vibration and native UI, are controllable with MoSync.

Jajuk is an open source software application for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux, written in Java. iTunes is a must application for those using iPhone or iPod. But iTunes is quite a bloatware program for those who do not use iPhoe or iPod; iTunes for Windows is especially such a slow and heavy application.

Bloom is a Facebook uploader with multi platforms

Bloom is a freeware for Windows/Mac OSX/Linux. Flickr, Picasa, and Facebook are very popular online sites for uploading some photos. I personally use Flickr most of the times, but I use Facebook if I want to show some photos to my friends.

The cool thing about using Facebook is that they have unlimited free capacity. Unfortunately you can’t upload more than 100 (right now probably 200?) pictures in each album. You may need a tool like Bloom to help you out!

iGoSyncDocs is OSS written in Java. Google Document is amazing web application that can use word processor, spread sheet, presentation online. But it’s messy to activate web browser anytime.
